Look After Your Wellbeing | EAP/VAP Program

Thanks to the support of DLGSC, Mental Health support is available for sports through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Volunteer Assistance Program (VAP) pilot program.

The program will provide limited access to free and confidential EAP counselling for SSA staff members working in the industry. Additionally, VAP critical incident response counselling will be available for SSAs to provide to their community and clubs.

EAP and VAP services critical in nature may be accessed automatically by eligible and participating SSAs by contacting AWS directly. SSA staff should inform AWS that they are part of the SportWest program and provide the name of their organisation.

SportWest Webinar Series | Employment Laws that Changed the Game

In these unprecedented times, sports organisations need to carefully consider their current contracts and plan accordingly. To help you tackle these changes, we’ve organised exclusive access to one of our partners – Citation HR and their industry experts at this online workshop: Employment laws that changed the game: fixed-term contracts.
