True Sport | Mental Health & Wellbeing Initiative Launch |
On behalf of SportWest, we invite you to attend the True Sport Mental Health & Wellbeing Initiative Launch on World Mental Health Day.
The Mental Health & Wellbeing initiative will provide support and resources for the sporting community to assist in responding to mental health and wellbeing challenges and build on the preventative and protective benefits that sport provides for members.
The initiative is designed as a value-add to all sporting organisations regardless of their size, capabilities or resources. It will complement existing mental health partnerships and support current and future mental health initiatives being delivered by organisations. State Sporting Associations (SSAs) will be able to select resources that suit their context, capability and objectives.
Date: Tuesday, 10th October 2023
Times: Session 1: 9:30am - 10:30am | Session 2: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
NOTE: There are two timeslots, and attendance would only be required for one session, based on your preferred timeslot.

Registrations for the the True Sport Sideline Behaviour Webinar close today!
The True Sport Sideline Behaviour Initiative seeks to increase public awareness of the impact of poor sideline behaviour in sporting environments. A marketing campaign seeks to inspire change, with supporting resources to support behaviour change.
We encourage the relevant team members from your organization to attend the webinar, specifically those in marketing and communications. Content will be focused on the marketing campaign and toolkit supplied to SSAs, including key messages, digital assets and the campaign timeline.

SportWest Industry Social Afternoon Lawn Bowls |
SportWest invites Members to join us in relaxed afternoon of Lawn Bowls at Cambridge Bowls Club on Friday 27 October, 2023. We look forward hosting you all for an afternoon of lawn bowls, good fun, and maybe a little bit of friendly competition.
Learn from the Pros and set a little bit of friendly competition on the greens from 2:00PM - 4:00PM. We encourage guests to stay after the game to network and enjoy in some drinks and nibbles.
Complimentary drink on arrival, with a cash bar to follow.

The awards recognise excellence in Australian sports journalism, broadcasting, production and photography and are the only dedicated sports media awards in Australia.
