His leadership and strategic vision align seamlessly with SportWest's mission to strengthen, promote, and advocate for the sports community of Western Australia.

The Board is thrilled to have appointed Liam at Chair and are extremely confident that he will only strengthen the evolution of SportWest, as we enter a new era of strategic planning.

Mr Twigger expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to SportWest's ongoing success. "I am honoured to take on the role of Chair at SportWest and am eager to work with the dedicated board members, staff, and stakeholders to build upon the organization's achievements. Together, we will continue to support and enhance the vibrant sports community that SportWest serves."
