Please note that the venue for this year’s event has changed. The Awards will now be held at, Crown Perth, Grand Ballroom.

International Women's Day Morning Tea | Save the Date

Volunteering WA has announced that applications are now open for the 2026 National Volunteer Week Grants! This is a fantastic opportunity for State Sporting Associations and Clubs across Western Australia to secure funding to host an event or activity that recognises and thanks the incredible volunteers who make sport possible.

Whole of Sport Working Committee EOI | Water Polo WA

Water Polo Western Australia (WPWA) is commencing a comprehensive organisational review to support the future growth, sustainability, and success of water polo across Western Australia.


As a part of this process, WPWA is establishing a Working Committee to support and oversee the review in collaboration with the appointed consultant, the WPWA Chair and WPWA CEO.


WPWA are now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from engaged and passionate stakeholders who wish to contribute their expertise, experience, and perspective to this important piece of work.

Western Australian Disabled Sports Association | State of the Sector Stakeholder Survey

The Western Australian Disabled Sports Association (WADSA), with the support of the Western Australian Government, is undertaking a State of the Sector project to better understand how people with disability access and experience sport and active recreation across Western Australia.


SportWest encourages your organisation to participate in the WADSA State of the Sector Survey for organisations delivering sport and active recreation.

Your feedback will help:

  • Map the current disability sport and active recreation landscape in WA

  • Identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities across the sector

  • Inform practical, evidence-based recommendations to strengthen inclusive sport and active recreation into the future

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and the closing date has been extended to Tuesday, 27 January.

Administered by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport’s Office of Multicultural Interests, the Western Australian Multicultural Awards celebrate individuals and organisations who have made a positive contribution to multiculturalism in WA.


The Sportsperson of the Year Award recognises an individual from a culturally and linguistically diverse background who has achieved excellence through their commitment to sport, either as an athlete, coach or sport administrator. 


The 2026 Western Australian Multicultural Awards will be presented at a gala ceremony on Thursday 12 March 2026.


Nominations close at 11:59 pm on Monday 26 January 2026.

Sport Integrity Australia, in collaboration with the WA Government and SportWest, invites you to attend the Safeguarding 101 session for sporting clubs.


This session will provide you with the opportunity to increase your understanding to create and maintain a child safe environment in your club. You will also learn who and how to report concerns about a child or young person.
