Regional Athlete Travel Subsidy Scheme |
The Regional Athlete Travel Subsidy Scheme (ATSS) is an initiative supporting regional athletes who have progressed into the high performance pathway of their chosen sport and are pursuing regional, state and national representation.
Eligible regional athletes can receive funding for out-of-pocket travel and accommodation expenses directly related to competitions and programs in accordance with the performance level categories and eligibility criteria outlined in the application guidelines. |

City of Swan become first LGA to take out SportWest Membership |
The City of Swan has become the first Local Government in WA to activate SportWest Membership this month, with the City of Swan staff looking to new ways to develop their people and strengthening the connection between the LGA and community sport in the state.
SportWest Member & Partnerships Manager, Matt Bamford was excited to see the City of Swan join as a new Member given the integral role of Local Government in maintaining community sport facilities..

Voice of Children & Young People - Advisory Group Expression of Interest |
The Voices of Children and Young People (VCYP) Advisory Group aims to provide youth representatives from within our WA sporting community the opportunity to speak to and advise SportWest on matters concerning their sporting experience.
This includes the opportunity to collaborate on True Sport, events, and resource development. This initiative aims to empower and elevate the perspectives of our younger generation, providing them with a platform to share their unique voices and contribute meaningfully to decision-making processes. |

Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop | Online |
Workshops will help SSA staff to embed True Sport - Mental Health and Wellbeing resources within their sporting context and become Mental Health Champions. Participants will learn skills appropriate for a sport administrator to respond to mental health issues and help promote positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
