SportWest Webinar Series | Employment Laws that Changed the Game

The game changed for fixed-term contracts in December 2023 with new laws placing a two-year length restriction on these contract types. And, while the sports industry is exempt from these until June 2024, the change is coming, and uncertainty remains for athletes, coaches, and sporting officials with contracts beyond June this year.

In these unprecedented times, sports organisations need to carefully consider their current contracts and plan accordingly. To help you tackle these changes, we’ve organised exclusive access to one of our partners – Citation HR and their industry experts at this online workshop: Employment laws that changed the game: fixed-term contracts.
