The 2025 WA Sport Industry Conference brought together an inspiring mix of leaders, changemakers, and passionate contributors from across Australia’s sporting landscape. Held at Pan Pacific Perth, the event was a powerful showcase of collaboration, innovation, and leadership.
Through thought-provoking keynotes, dynamic panels, and interactive sessions, attendees explored how sport can unite communities, elevate wellbeing, and drive positive change. From grassroots to elite, the conference reinforced the vital role sport plays in shaping a stronger, healthier WA.
To our partners and supporters, particularly the WA State Government and the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, thank you for your ongoing investment in sport and the industry in WA
And to everyone who joined us: thank you for your energy, insights, and commitment to building a more connected and resilient sport sector in WA. If this conference has taught us anything, it’s that leadership in sport is about people.

Sport is for Every BODY |
|
“Your body doesn’t have to look a certain way to play sport.” Too many young people feel judged or left out because of comments about how they look. Some even stop playing altogether.
Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) in partnership with The Embrace Collective, have recently launched The Sport is for Every BODY campaign, a campaign that reminds us that sport isn’t about having the “right” body. Sport is about having fun, feeling good, and being part of a team.
As part of the 'Sport is for Every BODY' campaign, SIA have resources for athletes, sporting clubs, coaches and parents. These resources will help you promote positive language and behaviours around body image in sport. |
