Mental Health Day

Mental Health Week runs from 4 to 11 October, and this Friday we mark World Mental Health Day, a global reminder of the importance of mental wellbeing in every aspect of life, including sport.

This year’s WA Mental Health Week theme, “Empowering Communities, Thriving Workforces”, resonates deeply with community sport.

True Sport is proud to support WA sporting organisations with a suite of mental health and wellbeing resources, from interactive workshops and eLearning modules to practical eToolkits and the True Sport Mental Health Champions Network. These tools help clubs and teams foster safe, inclusive environments where mental wellbeing is a shared priority.

This Mental Health Week, let’s champion the connection between mental wellbeing, meaningful roles in sport, and the strength of supportive sporting communities.
