In alignment with the 10 National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, this webinar aligns with National Principle 8 - Physical and online environments promote safety and wellbeing while minimising the opportunity for children and young people to be harmed.

Co-facilitated by SportWest's True Sport program and the eSafety Commissioner, and proudly supported by the State Government, this practical education session will explore key online safety risks in sport. Participants will learn how to identify and respond to issues such as cyberbullying of children, the non-consensual sharing of images or videos, and other forms of online harm. The session will also provide guidance on how to report harmful content and access support services. Additionally, it will highlight how to use True Sport resources to help create safer online environments and reduce the risk of harm to children and young people in sport.

This webinar will also address the upcoming social media age restrictions, set to take effect on 10 December 2025. These world-first measures introduced by the Australian Government aim to protect young Australians during a critical stage of their development.
