World Asthma Day is a major event on Respiratory Care WA's calendar. Led by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA), World Asthma Day unites countries worldwide to raise awareness of asthma — a chronic condition impacting millions, including 1 in 9 Western Australians.
This World Asthma Day, we encourage all Western Australians to Take a Deep Breath — for those who struggle to do so. Join us in raising awareness of asthma by pausing for a deep breath at home, in your workplace, or with friends and family. |

Aspiring Athletes and Parents |
|
The University of Western Australia are looking for aspiring athletes (high school ages 15-18 years) and parents of aspiring athletes, to take part in a 30-45 minute interview. This study aims to improve the support for aspiring athletes pursuing their sporting aspirations whilst managing other meaningful aspects of their life.
These interviews will be conducted separately and do not require both a parent and their child to participate—each can take part independently. Parent consent will be required for athletes under 18 years of age. |
